In addition to a lower cost of living than many other states, Arkansas is also renowned for its diverse landscape featuring mountains, lakes, rivers, natural hot springs, and vast forests.
The rugged Ozark region in the northwestern part of Arkansas, nicknamed the ‘Natural State’, features a variety of hiking trails and limestone caves.
The study analyzed Atlas customers’ moves within states, provinces, and internationally from November 2023 to October 2024.
According to the study, 32 percent of Americans moved for a new job, 25 percent relocated to be closer to friends or family and 33 percent gave other reasons.

The average home prices in cities like Hartford, Connecticut, are relatively low compared to other locations in the United States.
One of the average home prices that is challenging to surpass is $178,696 for a house in Hartford.
The well-known city in Connecticut also had one of the lowest mortgage rates in leading real estate markets – 6.5 percent.
Tennessee was also among the most sought-after states to relocate to, and Knoxville recently ranked as one of the nation’s most dynamic housing markets.
The median selling price of a house in Knoxville is $350,614, which is approximately $100,000 lower than the median in Nashville, Tennessee.
Individuals who are in the market for a home to own in the local area have a wide range of options, encompassing approximately 1,500 properties that are currently available.
Buyers may also have a good opportunity to purchase a house since 58.3 percent of Knoxville real estate sales fell short of the asking price.
